This operational experience, in a variety of geotechnical environments, allows POBA to deliver proactive advice tailored to the resources and capabilities of individual sites/mines. Where significant changes in the geotechnical environment dictate modifications to mining and ground control strategies, POBA can help facilitate the transition and resolve many of the issues associated with operational change.

In cases where a client has to react to a ground control issue POBA can mobilise appropriate personnel to assess the situation and provide advice based on risk control principles that have been developed and refined over many years of experience.

POBA is able to provide clients with geotechnical design criteria for the purposes of completing scoping level to bankable feasibility level studies, on greenfield or brownfield deposits to appropriate levels of accuracy. POBA has successfully worked on numerous occasions with client’s in-house technical personnel and external mining consultants.
